The Funny Alphabook for Christmas.

Ok, about a month ago when I was home I was going through some drawers and I found a book that Ashley and I made in 6th grade. Since it is Christmas time I thought I would share it with you. I am going to write it the exact same way it is written in the book, so if there are some words that are spelled wrong that is why! Anyways, this will be kind of a long post so here it goes..

The Funny Alphabook for Christmas
Illustrated and written by:
Ashley Hansen and Chelsea Killian
About the authors:
Ashley Hansen, An 11 yr. old? No much, much more! I play sports. I dance. I cook & I really like to play.
Chelsea Killian, an a 12 yr. old? No much, much more. I play sports & I like it. I dance. I cook & I really like to play games.
A- is for apple cider. For something to drink. It's nice & hot. It's applely & great fun for the holidays. I like it with hot chocolate. They have alot in common they're both HOT!
B- is for the bells that chime in the morning. I like the sound they make. It sounds kind of like ding-dong-dong. It's fun to hear them chime even though they don't chime in Huntington we just use our imaginations!
C- is for Christmas because that's the holiday were celebrating. Chelsea likes Christmas because It rocks! Ashley like Christmas because It's totally fun & amazing to hear Santa's sleigh bells. It is fun to play with friends. Christmas is magical!
D- is for Ding-Dong It means lots of visitors on Christmas is not unusual or is it? I need to be informed. I don't know what the persons name is? Maybe it's ding-dong.
Ding-Dong definition 1. a weird person 2. a weird noise 3. I don't know
E- is for eggnog. We definately need Apple cidar with hot chocolate & eggnog with eggs. I wonder where they got the name eggnog. Even though we don't like it we just drink Apple cidar with hot chocolate, but we know other people like eggnog.
F- is for fantacies of dancing sugarplums in your head. Loys of kids dream of dancing sugarplums. It's also in a book called The Night Before Christmas. It's one of our favorite Christmas books.
G- is for Gabrielle the important angel. He was the angel who told of Christ's coming to Mary, Joseph, and the 3 shepards.
H- is for humbug because that's what scrooge always said. Unitl he was taken to the past, present, and Future. Then he never did say it again. Humbug means those who aren't into the holidays. They usually say the word humbug.
I- is for icing to put on Christmas cookies. There could be green, red, blue, or any colors of frosting. There is usually angels stars, trees, santa clauses, and elves. We love cookies especially Christmas cookies.
J- is for Jelly. Santa has a Jelly Belly. Or so I'm I mean were told. Santa plays an important role in Christmas. We imagine that he is a very giving & busy person. We would like to meet him one of these days.
K- is for Kris Kringle. Kris Kringle is another word or name for santa claus. We like or prefer Kris Kringle, but younger kids like or prefer Santa Claus. Santa Claus has a lot of other names in different countries also the most foreign country to us the U.S.A.
L- is for lollipops that we put into stockings. We obviously like food you'll know after you read this book. There is also lots of other candies in stockings. The stockings are a tradition in Christmas holidays.
M- is for myrrh is what one of the wise men brought to give Jesus. myrrh is a fragrant aromatic plant gum used in perfumes and formerly for incense.
N- is for Naughty or Nice. That's how kids act. But you better be nice because Santa or his elves are watching you. But if your naughty you get cole but that would be all right with me. Because they make diamonds out of cole.
O- is for oreos with red frosting to stuff our faces. Because the oreo company says that it's Americas 1# cookie. And the oreos are our favorite.
P-is for peanuts because that's what Old Saint Nick likes. Actually Nick like all foods execpt for fish.
Q- is for quadrilateril because that's how most presents are shaped. And presents are very square shaped.
R- is for Rudolph color of nose. Because red is a Christmas color. So is green. It would be cool if they called him Rudolph the green-nosed reindeer.

W- is for watching Christmas shows. Because most Americans love t.v.
X- is for xcellent. Just because we left off the e it's better off without it.
Y- is for you because you are part of Christmas. Because you do do decorations. And you are in the holiday spirit.
Z- is for Zwahlen because she's making us do this book. But it is fun to do. And were glad for the experience.
Anyways, there you have it. The Funny Alphabook for Christmas. I think it is funnier now to read, then it was when we wrote it. We were a little retarded back then but it is a good memory.

How I love Fall

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year. I love the way the air smells (if you are like me you think the start of each season has a certain smell). I love when the leaves change colors. The sound of stepping on the crunchy leaves that have fallen to the ground. Anyways as you can tell I just love fall. On my way home yesterday I went over Huntington Canyon and the leaves have started to change. Here are a few pictures I stopped and took.

Date, Parade, Carshow and the Utah State Fair.

So last weekend I went to Logan to spend the weekend with Whitney, Zac, my Dad and my Mom.

On Friday I drove to Logan and Whitney set me up on a date with a kid she works with. We went on a double date with Whitney and Zac. We ate at my favorite pizza place "Firehouse Pizza". It was really funny because I had a triple threat calzone which is cheese and three types of pepperoni with any other two options I wanted. So my date got the same thing and he added sasuage which is fine and then he added Steak along with the three kinds of pepperoni and sausage. He said it was kind of an overload, we kind of all laughed when he got the steak in the first place it just sounds like a bit too much.

After we went to dinner we went to a corn maze. I thought it was really fun. We tried to follow the map for a long time and we got turned around well we got stuck in one spot so Ivan was like chelsea and I will go this way and you two go that way. Ivan and I tried to get out without looking at the map and we ended up going towards the beginning, but we still had hope that we would beat Whitney and Zac out. Well we ended up having to look at the map and Whitney and Zac beat us out by about ten minutes. I didnt get any pictures of the date, but it was a really fun date and I would love to go back to the corn maze when its haunted.

On Saturday we went to the Peach days Parade and Carshow in Brigham City. I must say that was the longest parade I have ever been to in my life. My parents met us in Brigham city and we went with them to the carshow. After the Carshow we went back to Logan and we went to Hobby Lobby and bought beads to make us watches. They turned out really cute. Once again I do not have any pictures from the parade or carshow. I am horrible at taking pictures when I know I have my camera.

On sunday we went to the Utah State Fair. We went into the Utah Wildlife exhibit and took some really funny pictures. I know they will kill me for posting them but I think they are funny.
Zac didn't want his picture taken as a goat.

My dad as a goat.

My mom as a goat.

Whitney as a goat.

Me as a goat. (above and below)

Me and Whit had to ride the big yellow slide. It was pretty dang fun.

Again.

Summer Fun.....

So I haven't blogged in a long time and when I moved to orem I forgot my camera chord so I haven't been able to get any pictures.

So this summer was a blast, most of our friends were in Emery this summer and we hung out all of the time. We did alot of memorable things such as playing night games at the pageant sight and staying up til three in the morning doing who knows what, we also went to the Emerson Drive concert at the Emery County fair and then we went to millsite and had a fire, and the night we hung out at maverik and got hit on my the biggest redneck ever haha. But most nights I forgot my camera and other nights I forgot I had my camera so this is the only thing I have pictures of.

So one night we were bored and we couldn't decide if we wanted to have a fire at Ashleys or go to price, but none of those sounded that fun so we decided to go to Huntington Lake and go crawdad fishing. We caught and ton, we threw some back and kept some because the boys wanted to cook them. So once we were sick of fishing we went back to Ashley's and cooked them. I however did not eat any, Cassie and Ashley tried them and then they were done. Dane and Redneck pretty much ate them all. So here are a few pictures from that night.

This is when we cleaned them, they are still alive in this picture.
Dane and Brookes hooked them together. Wouldn't that make such a pretty necklace?
Another connected picture.
Dane and Red feeling a little sick after eating all of them.

All of them they ate. I think there were like thirty somewhat crawdads.

Car Bouquet!

A friend of mine had back surgery and since it was a boy I didnt want to give him flowers because that really isnt a manly get well gift! Anyways, my mom came up with the "Car Bouquet"! It was pretty easy to make once i got the cars to stick to the sticks! All you need is a couple toy cars, a pot of some sort, wooden sticks, pipe cleaners, a foam ball, a hot glue gun, and your choice of filling! I used left over easter grass! I think it turned out pretty dang awesome!

Fun with the family!

Over Memorial day weekend! The family and I had a picnic on the desert! We drove to the cedar mountain picnic area! on the way there we about took out a moo cow! We then drove to the dead end and got out and walked around and took a few pictures then we turned around and went back to the picnic area and unloaded the stuff! It was a little rainy so it took the guys a little while to build the fire cause all of our wood was wet! Once the fire was started we quickly roasted our hot dogs before it died! It didnt last very long! We then loaded up and headed to the overlook and took a few more pictures! We then loaded up once more and headed back! On the way back we about took out another moo cow....it was a little bit frightening for me!

Mopars at the strip

In March we took our yearly Vegas trip to Mopars at the strip! The drive from Logan to Vegas sucked but other than that it was a great weekend! We left on a thursday and drove to Mesquite and then my mom, Whitney and I got up bright and early on friday and headed to Vegas to help register cars! Chip Foose from the TV series "Over Haulin" was a special guest this year so we got autographs and a picture with him! We left the speedway at about 5:30 and went to the hotel and got ready for dinner! We went to "Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville" and it was really fun! they have little boat booths that you eat in and they have people walking around on stilts and they have a little show that involves a valcano! After we ate we went back to the hotel since we had to be back out to the Speedway the next morning! We finished registering cars and then we went and watched my Uncle Clayton race in the 1/4 mile drags! After this me, my mom , and Whitney hit the outlet mall! After shopping we met back up with everyone else and headed to dinner! After dinner we headed to the Canery (the host hotel for Mopars at the Strip) they were having an oldies concert with former members of bands like boston and lynrd skynrd and a few others! Whitney and I then got the party started! We went and stood up front and started dancing and cheering and then everyone came and they started crowding us out, so Whit and I decided to stand in front of the security rail and almost got kicked out of the concert for it(we got yelled at by the security guard)! The singer from lynrd skynrd and a guitarist really liked whit and i and they kept coming and singing to us, the guitarist decided to give out some guitar picks and all these people were reaching for them and he kept pulling them away from them because he wanted me, whitney and my mom to have them, so I finally got a hold of them! After the concert we did a little gambling and then went back and went to bed! On sunday we got up and had breakfast and headed back home! This post is a little late but it was a great weekend and I had to wait til I went home to get the pictures because they were on my dads camera!

First Attempt at cake making....

Whitney and I decided we were going to learn how to decorate cakes! We have thought about taking a cake making class at michaels several times but decided it cost too much! We then decided to just try it and see what happens! We want to make a cake for my grandmas 70th birthday bash so that is another reason why we decided to try! So this is the finished product and I think it turned out pretty good for our first attempt!

I finally decided to get a blog!

I have officially became a blogger! Who knows if I will really blog that much or not, but we will see!
